  • Thoughts on Africa 4

    by Rianna Ivy 30. August 2010 16:18

Ok so i went fishing with everyone yesterday..... I was a little worried about the boat that is menat for 2 people having 5 people on it! lol, fishing isn't that bad once i had learnt to cast and stuffs. However it is rather repetitive and was rather bored towards the end as we had caught 2 fish with five rods and three hours! I would quite like to catch my own fish though! it might be more fun if you are catching fish!

It's quite scary that lots of the houses have fences around them, to think that theft is that much of a problem. Although some of the fences are pointless as they could easily be climbed over! they don't have any spikes or wire at the top.

Ok so i have now been bitten a fair amount on my legs, tis rather itchy! They seem to reckon they are tick bites (joy) but luckily i dont think that it is on me any longer!

I'm having some difficulties sleeping which is rather frustrating and makes me look like i'm lazy as i sleep in (to 8:30 which is apparantly too late for these guys!!!) And I cannot believe the amount of washing me and Nigel are producing so quickly, i don't particularly like doing washing. I'm glad that it dries quickly here!

The weather is picking up quite alot as it was fairly cold when we first got here. I was very surprised at how cold it got at night but also during the day.

The lodge has been very quiet so far in terms of guests, so i'm looking forward to seeing what it's like with guests and see how they run things e.t.c.

Why do Dairy milk and Nestle not sell some of these yummy things in England!!! like the double deck, that is yummy! we shall bring back some milo and stuffs :D

Not much else has happened really so i shall update after i have done something different
